The Consumer Specialty Products Association will change its name to the Household & Commercial Products Association in 2018, the group recently announced.
The rebranding is the result of a nearly year-long process based on the findings of research, multiple focus groups and key stakeholder input, according to CHPA. As part of the name change, the association also commissioned research about the economic impact of the industry.
"With continued growth on the horizon for the specialty chemicals industry, the timing was right for CSPA to embrace a new name, tagline and logo that projects a more modern brand to more effectively convey what we do and who our members are," CSPA CEO Steve Caldeira said.
The association will launch a media campaign in 2018 "that will highlight the name, tagline and logo change of the organization to increase awareness and understanding of the significant economic role our members play within the U.S. economy," he added. http://bit.ly/2Ccc2P4
